Just received my Number 1s last week. Right out of the box they are the most comfortable shoe I’ve ever worn. Been wearing them since, and now that they’re broken in they’re more comfortable than my sneakers.
Will be ordering another pair soon.

I recently ordered a pair of No. 6’s, and let me tell you…my feet have filed an official complaint against all of the other footwear I own. From the moment I slipped them on, it was like my feet were being hugged by tiny, confident leather cowboys whispering, "We've got you." No break-in period? Check. Supreme comfort? Double-check. The leather is so fine, I half expect it to start singing country ballads at sunset. These boots didn’t just walk into my life, they two-stepped in, stole the show, and left every other shoe and boot in my closet feeling insecure. Buy them. Your feet will start writing thank-you notes. And let’s not get me started on Chisos’ customer support. Actually…let’s, I had the pleasure of working with Gannon regarding an exchange, and I can confidently say it was a five-star experience. Gannon's service was nothing short of outstanding. He handled my request in a timely manner, ensuring that everything was processed smoothly and efficiently. What truly stood out was Gannon's professionalism, going above and beyond to make sure my needs were met. His attentive and courteous approach made the entire process seamless and stress-free as if I were dealing with someone I’ve known for years. 11/10 quality on both boots, and customer support!

I've been pulling on boots since I was a kid, and these Chisos stand out from all the rest. Everyone knows they're comfortable, but they're also a damn hard working boot. I retired a couple of years ago, but these boots make me want to get back out and work the ranch some more! I've worn them every day since they arrived with no pain or break-in period... just solid performance and a few nice compliments.

These boots are absolutely fantastic! I’ve tried on every boot brand sold at the western stores around Houston and nothing comes close to the comfort and quality of Chisos. My experience at the store in Austin was equally as great and well worth the drive! To put it simply, I will never waste my time or money on other brands from here on out. The number of compliments I’ve gotten on these boots is crazy…I’ll be buying the number 2s next time I’m in Austin! No doubt you guys are gonna change the game in the boot world…keep up the great work! Chisos all the way!

This is my first pair of Chisos boots, and they’ve quickly become one of the best-looking pairs I own—hands down the best-looking boot Chisos makes, in my opinion. I’ve had them since January and wear them at least three times a week. Now that they’re broken in, they’re not only incredibly comfortable but also one of the most attention-grabbing boots in my collection. Fantastic work, Chisos!

I usually wear work boots. I got the #6 brushed brown as my first pair of cowboy boots and from the second I saw them in the box I knew I was hooked. I put them on and felt like a different man. They fit true to my brannock size and feel great. I can’t stop looking at them when I’ve got them on. I’m already eying the #1s. Love these boots love the company!

Heard them described as like wearing leather socks once they are broken in and I couldn't agree more. Were a bit snug at first but loosened up with a few uses.

My third pair of Chisos and these are my favorite, I got them in the rough out. Again, didn’t disappoint. The leather smell hitting you when you open the box, the first time you slide your foot in and you fell that thump and it’s the perfect fit. It feels 90 % broken in already and they look awsome. These boots are worth every penny. Thanks

Great fit right out of the box. I’m still not sure if I went too big because they don’t hurt at all. The break in period seems non existent as they’re snug but extremely comfortable. So happy I made this investment. I’ll have them forever.

I own a mix of different boot toe styles. Really like this toe. Not too wide, not too narrow. It’s just right. As mentioned in several reviews the boots are comfortable. The price may seem a bit high for cowhide boots but once you try them on and see and smell the quality you will not regret your purchase. I’m very pleased with my boots.

I ordered an 11.5 in black and was nervous about shipping all the way to Aus without trying them on. I ordered my standard brannock size as the fit guide suggests and they do indeed fit true to size and were perfect for me.

I've had my fair share of western and non-western boots over the years and Chisos are hands down the most comfy and most impressive by far. From the box they were a good fit and were comfortable. I've had mine for a week so far and have worn them all day almost every day consecutively and each day they keep getting better. The level of craftsmanship and attention to detail is amazing.

I absolutely would recommend Chisos to anyone; they're easily worth the price and I will happily be buying another pair in Brown.

After a month now wearing them now and then, they're breaking in absolutely fine and fit great. Boots of this excellence are quiet a rarity in my vicinity, so I'm very proud.

The boots are gorgeous. I have the Brushed Brown. Brown is the most versatile color in footwear. I think they go best with jeans, but can definitely be worn with chinos as well. I only wear them on the weekends for nights out so I'm sure they'll last forever. If I ever need a resole it would be years from now. I love the 11 inch shaft. I think that's the perfect height. I also love the slightly more than one and a half inch heel. I'm only 5"7" so it's appreciated. I'm usually an 8.5 EE but Dan recommended a 9D which was perfect. The right boot was super comfortable the 1st wear however the left was quite tight. Removing the insoles on the left one did the trick and now they're super comfortable as well. I'll put the insole back in once they're totally broken. Customer service is fabulous. Dan really knows his stuff and he was happy to pass along his knowledge to me. You can spend more on a pair of boots but you won't get a better pair. Love you Chisos

Extremely well made boots. Added the #1 Ostrich to the brown #2s. After a couple weeks of wear they break in perfect. Gonna be hard to go back to anything lesser made.

Tried a few boot makers. These Chisos no.6 ropers are quite possibly the most comfortable boots I’ve ever put on. Instantly comfortable. My brannock is in between 11.5 and 12 D, and my foot is relatively low volume with a lowish instep. I ordered 11.5 and they are great
