The strengths of the No. 2 lie in its details: the heritage leather hides scuffs and develops a handsome patina over time. The refined square toe is subtle and unique. And the stitching is a nod to the petroglyphs in Big Bend National Park.

Chisos heritage cowhides boast superior durability to juvenile leathers, and our proprietary process renders them uniquely soft. Natural variation occurs by design. Handcrafted in Mexico.

Chisos provides free shipping on exchanges within the contiguous United States within 90 days of purchase. Product costs are refundable within 30 days of purchase.

For all returns, items must be in like-new condition without scratches nor scuffs. We recommend trying on your boots on carpet to ensure proper fit.

Chisos boots fit true to size according to US shoe standards. Simply order the size that you wear most often.

Generally boots will match the same size you wear in other leather footwear, or a half size smaller than your athletic shoes. If you normally waiver between two sizes, select the smaller size.

The conversion between men's and ladies' is approximately 1.5-2 size increments. For example, a Men's 7 D is a Ladies' 8.5 or 9.

The leather soles of your boots are designed to wear out and be replaced, much like the brakes on your pickup truck. Your mileage will vary depending on conditions of use, your weight, and your walking style. Avoid repeated exposure to water and excess moisture.

When needed, a cobbler can perform a full resole and heel replacement.

Chisos No. 2 – The Perfect Balance of Comfort, Craftsmanship, and Durability

If you’re looking for a high-quality, all-day wearable cowboy boot that perfectly blends comfort, durability, and classic Western style, then the Chisos No. 2 is the gold standard. These boots are not just another pair of cowboy boots – they are a statement of quality and craftsmanship that stands out in a market flooded with mass-produced alternatives.

Comfort – Like a Broken-In Boot from Day One

The biggest selling point of the Chisos No. 2 is how incredibly comfortable they are right out of the box. No painful break-in period, no stiff leather rubbing against your foot – just a smooth, supportive, and cushioned feel from the first wear. The heritage leather insole molds to your foot over time, while the Chisos signature poron-cushioned insert offers support you won’t find in most traditional leather-lined boots.

Quality & Craftsmanship – Built to Last

Chisos doesn’t cut corners on materials. These boots are handcrafted using full-grain heritage leather, which means they’ll develop a beautiful patina over time. The channel welt construction adds an extra layer of durability, making them easily resoleable while maintaining their structure for years. The stitching is flawless, and the embossed Chisos logo on the outsole adds a touch of rugged elegance.

Design – A Modern Classic

The Chisos No. 2 strikes the perfect balance between traditional and contemporary Western design. The rounded, slightly squared toe offers a sleek profile without being overly modern, making them versatile for both business-casual settings and full-on ranch wear. The hand-tooled detailing on the shaft adds character, without going overboard on flashy embellishments.

Durability & Performance – Tough Enough for Anything

These boots aren’t just for show – they hold up to real-world wear. The reinforced double-stitched outsole and solid leather heel ensure that they won’t wear out quickly, even with daily use. Whether you’re walking city streets, working on a ranch, or just going out for a night on the town, the Chisos No. 2 performs beautifully in any situation.

Final Verdict – Worth Every Penny

If you appreciate quality, comfort, and a boot that can handle anything you throw at it, the Chisos No. 2 is one of the best investments you can make in Western footwear. They’re tough, stylish, and ridiculously comfortable, making them an essential boot for any serious cowboy boot enthusiast.

Size matters

The Number 2's are great! It took 3 different sizes to get the right fit, and now the break in process has begun and the boots are fitting better with each use. Chisos has great customer service with good advice and follow through.
I will get another pair in the future.

Amazing boots and service

After a prolonged email exchange with Gannon who was extremely helpful and patient with all my questions(needed to get it right as boots were gonna be shipped to uk) the boots arrived and they can say they’re amazing out of the box, mega comfortable, even thought they’re a bit snug but after only a couple of times of wearing they’re straying to break in and stretch to match my feet.
The quality of the boots is outstanding.
Highly recommend them, and looking forward to many years of use and more than likely adding at least another pair !!

Worth every penny

Best pair of cowboy boots I have in my collection. Easily the most comfortable and well crafted boots I’ve worn. They definitely live up to the hype. I’m looking forward to getting a pair of rough outs next.

Fantastic boots

These are, without question, the best boots I’ve ever owned. I’ve had Lucchese, Anderson Bean, Tecovas and Rujo. The comfort is far above all the others and they look great. I like them so much I already bought a pair of No 2 in magic black to go with the brown. I wear them with jeans and with dress pants for work.

Killer boots!

These #2’s were my first pair of chisos. I liked them so much a week later I ordered a pair of #1 ostrich and they are even nicer! I wear them every chance I get and get compliments on them every time!

Truly Exceptional

I purchased the Chisos No. 2 in Burnished Brown. However, the initial pair I received was excessively tight. I promptly notified the Customer Service team via email, and they responded promptly with instructions to return the pair. The process was super easy as they send you a return label to print off.

Apart from the vamp being too tight, the footbed and sole provided exceptional comfort. Consequently, I eagerly anticipated receiving the larger boot. I typically wear an 11 in tennis shoes, but I inadvertently ordered a 10 1/2. In retrospect, I should have opted for the same size as my tennis shoes.

The final pair of boots are truly exceptional. The craftsmanship and quality of the leather are remarkable. They fit perfectly, providing a comfortable and secure fit. I intend to acquire the Magic Black color in the No. 2 as well.
Thank you, Gannon, for guiding me through the process and helping me select a pair of boots that I intend to cherish for years to come.

You get what you pay for.

These are good looking boots, and thanks to roseanvil (YouTube) I can appreciate the quality. The breaking in process was a little long, but they broke in!
I’m definitely taking care of them and wearing out on my days off usually to just run light errands or go out to dinner, they pair well with black or dark blue jeans. I don’t really have anything bad to say, except that the claim of these boots being the most comfortable boots is subjective. I can wear these boots for almost the whole day but I’m definitely relieved to take them off at the end of the day.
They don’t provide much in the arch support so anyone with flat feet could probably understand me. I’m waiting to swap out some insoles but again these are my going out boots not my work boots. For work, at the moment I’d say Ariat are my current go to for comfortable and safe (rubber soles) boots. They maybe not as nice and build quality is different but still, you don’t mind giving them a beating at the price point. Disclaimer I’m not turning this into a go buy ariat review at all, sh*t I own both, Im just trying to give my honest opinions on the comfort claims. Still the fact I can change the outsole gives me hopes that I can take these boots out for a long night of dancing.

This is it, this is the boot!

I went out looking for the boot that I could dress up (tuxedo level suit up) and all the way down to heavily washed jeans and an old t-shirt. Well, this is that pair. These look good everywhere, they feel great on first pull and break in nicely. Looking forward to another pair of No. 2 in Magic Black or Suede (or both!)

Our Best-Selling Boot

Meet the Chisos No. 2, the most popular Chisos boot ever designed. Durable and comfortable. Dress it up or down. Moving comfortably between the ranch and the city, the No. 2 is a true all-around boot.

Specifically tanned to complement the heritage nature of our leathers, each pair is hand-brushed to reveal its unique story. Natural variances in leather tone and texture ensure your boots stand apart.

And once you pull 'em on for the first time, there's no turning back.

Your Chisos boots will last decades with appropriate attention. The vamp (leather surrounding the foot) and leather shaft require only minimal care. Condition this leather about once every three months. Store in a cool, dry location and take a day off between heavy uses to allow the insides to properly dry.

To extend the life of new soles, have a cobbler apply a rubber sole saver upon receipt. No matter what, physics is going to win against leather soles and stitching. To slow the process, a cobbler can add some rubber to mitigate.
