Refund policy

To initiate an exchange or a refund, please utilize the Chisos Returns Portal. Please email howdy@chisos.com or call 512-866-7222 with questions. We are happy to talk to you!

RefundsUp to 30 Days After Purchase Date

As long as you are within 30 days of the purchase date, and the boot is in like-new condition with no scuffs on the soles, we are happy to offer you a refund.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. We also request that you return the original packaging.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund based upon the condition of the product.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a refund will be sent to your original method of payment.

Customers are responsible for return shipping charges.

ExchangesUp to 30 Days After Purchase Date

We allow exchanges on unused items (for boots, no scratches or scuffs on the soles) up to 30 days after the purchase date. You may exchange for the same item or receive store credit to spend on other Chisos products as you see fit.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift card code will be emailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver.

Shipping

Domestic USA exchange shipping costs are usually covered by Chisos at no charge to you. Exceptions exist for Alaska and Hawaii. Please note that any outbound shipping costs are nonrefundable and return-for-refund shipping charges apply. We do not cover any international shipping and cannot refund duties or tax fees.
