The boot that Started It All
Named like oil wells—in the order of development—all Chisos boots owe a debt of gratitude to the infamous Chisos No. 1.
Elegant embroidery showcases the sun rising over the Chisos Mountains, a tip of the hat to our namesake in Far West Texas. And that medium round toe pairs well with pressed jeans or a tux.
The classic horseman's boot, let the Chisos No. 1 anchor your collection.
Your Chisos boots will last decades with appropriate attention. The vamp (leather surrounding the foot) and leather shaft require only minimal care. Condition this leather about once every three months. Store in a cool, dry location and take a day off between heavy uses to allow the insides to properly dry.
The leather soles of your boots are designed to wear out and be replaced, much like the brakes on your pickup truck. Your mileage will vary depending on conditions of use, your weight, and your walking style. Avoid repeated exposure to water and excess moisture. When needed, a cobbler can perform a full resole and heel replacement.
To extend the life of new soles, have a cobbler apply a rubber sole saver upon receipt. No matter what, physics is going to win against leather soles and stitching. To slow the process, a cobbler can add some rubber to mitigate.
First purchase was Chisos #2 and the fit and comfort right out of the box was amazing. I usually like a square toe box but decided to pull the trigger on the #1 after some input from Gannon. The #1's might have been even more comfortable out of the box. Keep up the great work and don't loose your focus on a great brand and product.
These are hands down the best looking and most comfortable boots Ive eve had!
I have boots from Lucchese, Rujo, Tony Lama, and others and my daily go-tos are my Chisos.
Get them, you will not regret it!
My new pair of Chisos boots are very comfortable and perfectly fitted. The workmanship and materials are also top notch. It seems that Chisos has chosen to put their efforts into making a superior product in lieu of an exhaustive number in terms of varieties of styles and materials. Well done.
In my 50 plus years I've owned beautiful boots, and I've owned comfortable boots, but I have never owned a pair of boots that were, both, this beautiful and this comfortable at the same time. The quality is beyond my expectations.
Do yourself a favor and stop scrolling and watching videos and simply buy these boots !!! Your feet will LOVE you !! Love this company and what it stands for !!
The whiskey’ No. 1s are my second pair of Chisos boots. I discovered Chisos after wearing other brands for years. The superior level of quality and comfort was immediately noticeable compared to the other brands. Further more, Chisos are now as symbolic as pockets are on pants in my attire. You’ve got a customer for life and I mean it. Keep up the great work guys! You’re different for a reason.
No. 1 boots impressed me. The fit is perfect—true to size—and the comfort level is very good . The quality of the leather is evident not only in the craftsmanship but also in the incredible aroma the moment you open the box. These boots strike a very refined style.
Best boots I’ve ever had!!!
Day one my Chisos No 1 were comfortable. Day 2 I wore them for 6 hours but they were not broken in but comfortable. After a few weeks they are my preferred boot. I alternate with different boots. People notice the craftsmanship of Chisos boots. I keep these boots for more formal casual events because I don't want to dirty them up. Out on the farm I wear cheaper boots but keep the Chisos on the ready in the truck. I'm thinking if buying the rough out next because Chisos are mighty fine comfortable boots.
I want to start by saying thank you for the best customer service. I ordered a pair of boots and had ordered the wrong size. I emailed and called and spoke to Gannon. He was extremely helpful and nice. He sent me a shipping label. I had the new boots at my house in two days. My wife called me to tell me that she had to open the box because her girlfriends wanted to see these boots that made our dining room smelled like a saddlery. The boots are very well made and no need to worry about breaking them in. From the minute you put them on they are so comfortable and good looking.
