The strengths of the No. 2 lie in its details: the heritage leather hides scuffs and develops a handsome patina over time. The refined square toe is subtle and unique. And the stitching is a nod to the petroglyphs in Big Bend National Park.

Chisos heritage cowhides boast superior durability to juvenile leathers, and our proprietary process renders them uniquely soft. Natural variation occurs by design. Handcrafted in Mexico.

Chisos provides free shipping on exchanges within the contiguous United States within 90 days of purchase. Product costs are refundable within 30 days of purchase.

For all returns, items must be in like-new condition without scratches nor scuffs. We recommend trying on your boots on carpet to ensure proper fit.

Chisos boots fit true to size according to US shoe standards. Simply order the size that you wear most often.

Generally boots will match the same size you wear in other leather footwear, or a half size smaller than your athletic shoes. If you normally waiver between two sizes, select the smaller size.

The conversion between men's and ladies' is approximately 1.5-2 size increments. For example, a Men's 7 D is a Ladies' 8.5 or 9.

The leather soles of your boots are designed to wear out and be replaced, much like the brakes on your pickup truck. Your mileage will vary depending on conditions of use, your weight, and your walking style. Avoid repeated exposure to water and excess moisture.

When needed, a cobbler can perform a full resole and heel replacement.

Our Best-Selling Boot

Meet the Chisos No. 2, the most popular Chisos boot ever designed. Durable and comfortable. Dress it up or down. Moving comfortably between the ranch and the city, the No. 2 is a true all-around boot.

Specifically tanned to complement the heritage nature of our leathers, each pair is hand-brushed to reveal its unique story. Natural variances in leather tone and texture ensure your boots stand apart.

And once you pull 'em on for the first time, there's no turning back.

Your Chisos boots will last decades with appropriate attention. The vamp (leather surrounding the foot) and leather shaft require only minimal care. Condition this leather about once every three months. Store in a cool, dry location and take a day off between heavy uses to allow the insides to properly dry.

To extend the life of new soles, have a cobbler apply a rubber sole saver upon receipt. No matter what, physics is going to win against leather soles and stitching. To slow the process, a cobbler can add some rubber to mitigate.

Chisos No. 2

Love 'em. Took a couple of hours to do the break in -- but now, pull 'em on and go. Looking forward to my next pair of Chisos. Thanks for great boots.

Real quality & beautiful

I’ve never owned better made footwear of any kind. Not many things in life are made to such a high standard. Loved these so much I bought them in black too!

Chisos a little tight

I bought the boots based on my count shoe size and previous boot size. While soles are comfy the forefoot is tight like a firm handshake. I am hoping that wearing them around the home will break them in so I can debut and wear them in public.

Great boots!

I love my Chisos #2 in brushed brown. The more I wear them the more comfortable the become. I'm glad I went with Will's advise to size down a half size from my athletic shoes. My only problem is having the patience to save up to buy another pair!

Best fitting boots ever

I’ve had my brushes brown #2a for about a month. Love em. No pain with break in and now are starting to look like proper boots with lines and crinkles that a well broken in pare of boots get. Wear them every day and love em.

Best made boot since the 90’s but don’t fit my feet.

Very well-made Boot. The leather thickness is excellent. The leather quality is great. Sole is thick. Best pair of boots built since the 1990s. The cushion inserts are nice! Now for the con, The damn things don’t fit my damn feet. The vamp is way too low. I’ve stretched them for six days and they still hurt my feet. I’ve stretched them so much the leather is about ready to tear. It’s only the vamp part that doesn’t fit my feet. As far as the fit to the bottom of my foot, they’re about as perfect as you can get. For 500 bucks, I will stick with my Durango and Dan Post. At least they still fit my feet without any modifications and half the price.

Damn good boots

I had to size up a half size, and it took about a week to stretch in the instep. After the “break in,” these boots are definitely worth the money. 14-15hrs without foot or back pain. They look great, and I’ve had people stop me and ask what boots they were. Saving for another pair in black
