I've had many different brands some better then others but none even comes close to my Chisos #6 Roughouts. Very comfortable right out of the box little to no break in period. Customer Service was absolutely awesome thank you Gannon.
It’s true when they said it’s a comfortable pair of boots. I had to go up a half size to get it. If you are concerned about the cost like I was. I sent twice the money trying lesser cost boots to find this fit. I have enjoyed wearing this boot and would at least recommend trying a pair.
This is my first pair of Chisos and I must say that I’m impressed! I got the brushed brown and just now getting them broken in. They look beautiful and feel great. Comparing them with my other higher end brands they definitely excel. I’m already looking at another pair. I guess I’m a boot addict but life is good!

I bought a pair of Chisos Black #2 boots and now I have questions.
First question: Why didn't anyone warn me I'd instantly gain the confidence of a Texas oil baron who just closed a cattle deal, won a bass tournament, and ordered a ribeye the size of a hubcap?
The leather is so rich it looks like it was conditioned with crude oil and Willie Nelson concert tickets. The craftsmanship is ridiculous. I've owned boots that felt like footwear. These feel like a promotion.
The first day I wore them, my truck somehow gained 15 horsepower, George Strait started playing on the radio without being selected, and three strangers nodded at me with a level of respect usually reserved for astronauts and championship bull riders.
The Black #2s are smoother than a 1979 Cadillac cruising Main Street on a Friday night. They're tougher than a two-dollar steak and more comfortable than the recliner your granddad refused to replace for 30 years.
My wife rolled her eyes when I bought them.
Now she says, "You're wearing those boots again, aren't you?"

I really liked the style but unfortunately they're too narrow. Great boots otherwise. Already went up a half size to try and get a better fit. They didn't have wider widths in the boot I like.
Fantastic right out of the box. Theses are my third pair of boots from Chisos. Fit is true to size. No break in required. I wear them all day. I own a few pair of the luxury brands as well. ("L" and "T") Chisos are, bar none, my favorite boots.

Love them. Breaking in very well. The removable cushioned insole is a game changer. Hopefully, one day, they will start producing wide sizes in osterich.
Hi Chisos Team, I am enjoying my recent purchase. These are the best pair of boots I have ever owned; I particularly love the color and style. After wearing them for about two months, I have found them to be incredibly comfortable and easy on my feet. I do have one request: if you were to offer this style in black, I would certainly purchase another pair.
These are exceptionally well made boots that are built to last. I own several pairs of boots from other legacy boot manufacturers and I have to say these Chisos #1’s are just on another level.
Now, they where tough to break in, but I have a high instep, and probably should have went up a half size. So watch some videos on breaking in Chisos, and do some research on sizing and you should be fine.
I was on fence at first. Took a chance and won! The boots are perfect! And I don’t like using that word, because almost nothing truly is. However, these boots called for it. Was never a big fan of the round toe. I took a chance with these and it was 100% worth it. The no 1 ostrich is my favorite boot. I Went up 1/2 a size than I normally get but that’s perfect because they didn’t have 8.5 in these at the time. Well crafted and damn good looking boots. I’m just waiting for a restock in the king ropers and the no 2 in magic black. I was not sold at first, but now I’m a fan for life. 3 pairs in and looking for more. After I complained to Chisos that all their whiskey-colored leather boots were sold out right now during the summer, I received the reply that Chisos is a small company that had to calculate quantities very precisely and that it is more important for the company to make good shoes than to ensure full stock levels.
Do the newly received No. 7 products live up to these quality standards?
And I must say, that after a first close visual inspection, everything is manufactured exactly as I expected for this specification. Chapeau!!!!
For those ordering from afar and concerned about shoe size, I have a tip. Get yourself the Brannock device.
It's a device for measuring foot size and can be found cheaply used online. Chisos adheres to these measurements for its sizing!

So I had given up even the thought of boots years ago with severe neuropathy and planter facitis boots were just not in the cards for me.
I had thought about custom boots but just couldn't bring myself to afford them if I just was going to have to give them up to the goodwill..
Then I found Chisos thought I would give them a go as they addressed my issues in the website.
Boy am I glad I did! Most comfortable boots ever, no foot pain (miracle) and they were the right price. So glad I made this choice I live in them now and plan on a second pair soon. I am even giving them as gifts I am so happy.
Plus, they look great, and come in the greatest box. Easy to take care of mine are turnouts and I thought suede but not really much hardier and they are developing a patina that gives them character.

I wear 11D in vans/tennis shoes, got an 11D in these and they fit great. Love these boots!
I absolutely love these boots. They started to break in a little sooner than I expected, and they keep getting more comfortable each time I wear them. It’s obvious that the folks at Chisos take pride in what they do. Kudos!
I love em , super stout, still breaking them in the right boot is a bit snug however probably just my foot

This belt is unexpectedly comfortable. Looks great, aging beautifully, and why the hell doesn't everybody space the holes at 3/4" like Chisos has done here??
It’s Perfect. Just the right size for minimal carry. Chisos also has great customer service as well. Bonus the wallet smells terrific and they hook you up with stickers!
I started wearing cowboy boots not too long ago. Been searching for the most comfortable boots I can find. Have 7 pairs so far. I would say Chisos no 1 is by far the pair with the best quality and most comfortable. Initially it was really snug across the vamp. After reading various forums, I decided to stick with it. Took me about 2 weeks to break it in. Once it did, boy it was really comfortable. 100% recommend the boots to anyone. Glad I did not return it.
