Damn Comfortable
Removable insoles for all day comfort and ready-to-wear ergonomics that continue to mold to you over time.
They are most certainly nice boots. But as far as comfort goes, my left boot feels great and snug, the right boot on the other hand feels tighter. And can get a little bit unbearable to wear. Hopefully it will break in.
Classic leather boots. These fit well, look great whether or not they’re scuffed, and feel great on the feet.
Also want to mention that the customer service I got while swapping for a better size was amazing. Not the best customer service I’ve gotten with boots, but with pretty much anything. They’ve got great quality and have earned repeat business.
Before I bought a pair of the No. 6, I read the reviews of folks comparing Chisos to Lucchese boots. As someone who owns over 10 pairs of Lucchese and many other pairs of other brands and even custom made boots, there is no comparison. The Chisos is far superior in feel and quality. The leather is rich and soft and there is no questioning that the quality of the construction is better. The cool thing is that each time I wear them (and I have worn them every day since I purchased them 2 weeks ago), it seems like they get more comfortable. The only problem I have now is trying to determine which Chisos pair I will purchase next.
As I write this review I am wearing my Chisos no. 2's. Not sure which boot I like more but I can tell you one thing, they are both very comfortable. I probably get more comments on the roughouts but they are both great.
If you’re on the fence, just do it. As in almost every review you’ll read on here these are next level boots in terms of comfort and durability. This was my first pair of Chisos (#6 Roughouts). The shaft is a little narrow at first but breaks in nicely with consistent wear for the first couple of weeks. The insoles are ridiculously comfortable. My 2nd pair was the #2’s in brushed brown. Same thing…. Fantastic comfort and fit (the 6’s are a little tighter at first and requires some additional wear to break in). That said, I returned my 2’s for the 1’s to try as I’m more of a fan of the round toe look. Patiently waiting on those to be shipped. Great products.
Definitely get a half size up in their ropers ! But the boots are amazing ! Construction / Build quality is top notch. Customer service is amazing and their core values are great ! I fully support this company and what they do !!! Keep up the great work guys !!
I have several pairs of boots, but these are my favorite. The leather is so tough it took a good week to break them in properly, but now they fit perfectly. The condor of this boot are hard to beat, and you would be hard pressed to find a higher quality boot.
Love mine!
Best quality boots out there, worth more than the price they're being sold for
I have tried several boots from the big players in Western wear, yet nothing comes close to the quality and comfort of Chisos Boots. This is my second pair of Chisos, and I feel the No. is the perfect fit when combined with the Chisos insole. I have worn these boots everywhere: on day long outings, to several concerts and dance halls, on mile long hikes across rocky terrain, and they have stood up to it all. Aside from the boot itself, the Chisos customer experience is second to none. In the showroom, Kris and Allison were patient and helpful in providing care and attention, while finding me the right size and model. I cannot say enough good things about this company, but the boots speak for themselves; the aromatic smell of the leather, the Texas stamped heel cap, the quality of the hide. That is all it takes for friends and folks to ask about these boots. There is truly something different about Chisos. Do yourself a favor and get a pair!
I bought my husband Chisos roper style boots . He has high arches and had a lot of pain even in his Lucchese’s. This kinda stopped our dancing days for a bit. I did some research and saw more than a few reviews about how comfortable Chiso’s were, so Took a chance on them and true to the reviews we are able to dance again. Thank you Chiso’s for bringing back some much missed joy in our lives.
