Easy on, easy off, hard to forget
Designed with a low profile and a sleek silhouette, the Chisos No. 7 brings a whole new ease to the cowboy boot experience.
But don’t let the zipper fool you: this boot’s built Chisos tough. The No. 7 holds its shape while breaking in with surprising comfort. The signature toe bug just the right touch of character, while the red stripe on the heel ties it back to the rest of the Chisos family.
Your Chisos boots will last decades with appropriate attention. The vamp (leather surrounding the foot) and leather shaft require only minimal care. Condition this leather about once every three months. Store in a cool, dry location and take a day off between heavy uses to allow the insides to properly dry.
The leather soles of your boots are designed to wear out and be replaced, much like the brakes on your pickup truck. Your mileage will vary depending on conditions of use, your weight, and your walking style. Avoid repeated exposure to water and excess moisture. When needed, a cobbler can perform a full resole and heel replacement.
To extend the life of new soles, have a cobbler apply a rubber sole saver upon receipt. No matter what, physics is going to win against leather soles and stitching. To slow the process, a cobbler can add some rubber to mitigate.
First of all, I can wear these with any pants and they still look great. Jeans, chinos, dressier pants they just work. That versatility alone made a big difference for me.
I work in real estate, so I’m not out here wearing workwear or heavy-duty pants. One thing I really appreciated is that I didn’t have to go out and buy boot cut jeans just to make these work. They fit naturally with what I already had in my closet, which made the transition easy.
I’ve actually started wearing them more often for work because I have way more options now when it comes to putting outfits together. They make me look sharper and more presentable when I’m with clients, but I can also step into properties, get them a bit dirty, and not worry about it.
I’ve also gotten a lot of compliments on them people definitely notice.
At first, I thought this was just a boot with a shorter shaft, but it’s more than that. The design, the fit, and especially the zipper make them way more practical without losing that clean, classic look.
I even wore them out in the rain, walking through wet concrete, and they held up great no slipping, no second guessing my decision to wear them that day.
Overall, these turned into a go-to way faster than I expected definitely the most versatile boot I own.
These are the boots so far! I have the No 1 and the No 6. The No 7 fit so well for my somewhat skinny legs. BIG FAN. Will definitely buy another pair in the future.
I mean, "most comfortable boots ever" is a bit of a cliche at this point, but...
"most comfortable boots ever" is the best description. Gonna buy me some more I think
Without question, this is my favorite boot in a while, and that says a lot considering I easily have 50+ pairs. I love cowboy boots. I love lace up boots. I just love boots. These things are absolutely the most comfortable pair I have! I wear them with jeans, and I wear them with suits. The comfort and support the zipper shaft gives is what hits this out of the park for me. These things hug you like a lace up boot and give you the comfort of the cowboy boot slip on. Add all that together with this leather and the brushed brown color and you get a killer pair of boots! Great job Chisos!
Have all three colors in No. 7, and several other Chisos styles. Can't praise brand highly enough, for all the usual reasons about quality and comfort, but I think these No. 7s are the best yet. Snug supportive fit around my ankles and versatility to hide under dressier slacks. Well done.
I now have 4 pair of Chisos boots and have liked all of them. They are very comfortable from the first step. I am still breaking them in. The quality is excellent, even compared to more expensive or well known boots.
These are the best boots I have ever worn. Acorrding to my Wife, I have way too many pairs of boots! But, when I saw that Chisos made a side -zip boot, I knew I had to have a pair. I wear a size 13D and they're not always in stock, but when they were, I got mine and love wearing them. I think the lower heel fits my foot best. Now, if I could only get them to stop squeaking! Both boots squeak on hard surface floors and I've worn them almost daily for a month. Nice boots but noisy!
Such a cool boot im only 2 days in and those two days were rough but after today they are really starting to settle and really looking forward to enjoying these things.
Customer service was great and im definitely looking forward to my next pair. Thanks
They fit well. A bit too tight at the ankle level and my ankles are normal size for my height. Otherwise the boots are extremely confortable and the quality seems to be excellent. Looking forward to purchase the Whiskey No 7 when they are available
As a professional pilot, a great boot is a must. Spend a lot of time in them and they fit like a glove!
