Ostrich
11" Shaft
1⅝" Heel
Full full-quill ostrich vamps perfectly tanned to match our signature brush-off brown cowhide shafts. An understated statement, the No. 2 moves easily between the ranch and downtown. Featuring geometric embroidery inspired by the petroglyphs in Big Bend National Park.

Chisos provides free shipping on exchanges within the contiguous United States within 90 days of purchase. Product costs are refundable within 30 days of purchase.

For all returns, items must be in like-new condition without scratches nor scuffs. We recommend trying on your boots on carpet to ensure proper fit.

Chisos boots fit true to size according to US shoe standards. Simply order the size that you wear most often.

Generally boots will match the same size you wear in other leather footwear, or a half size smaller than your athletic shoes. If you normally waiver between two sizes, select the smaller size.

The conversion between men's and ladies' is approximately 1.5-2 size increments. For example, a Men's 7 D is a Ladies' 8.5 or 9.

The leather soles of your boots are designed to wear out and be replaced, much like the brakes on your pickup truck. Your mileage will vary depending on conditions of use, your weight, and your walking style. Avoid repeated exposure to water and excess moisture.

When needed, a cobbler can perform a full resole and heel replacement.

Best Boots Ever

I’ve worn boots my entire life and these were a game changer. Incredibly comfortable! I’ve had problems with my back and after wearing these a month or so my back pain is gone. I bought these reluctantly because I’ve been wearing another brand for years but I’m officially a convert to Chisos!

Well-made boots.

I trusted the sizing information on the website and wound up with the correct size. Firm-handshake tight, but no hotspots. They weren't uncomfortable on the first wear, but fit even better as they've loosed up just a bit. I move around well in them.

These are my 4th pair of cowboy boots. I also have 20-year-old Tony Lama's, lizard-skin Lucchese Classics ropers, and some rubber-soled Ariats. The Lucchese ropers are painful by lunchtime; the others are comfortable. These are all very well-made boots for their price range, but the Chisos appear to be better built even compared to the hand-made Luccheses.

Awesome boots, just hard to break in

I love chisos as a company. I think they are awesome. Long. Story short I’ve had 3 pairs of chisos, from 10, 10.5, 11.

This pair is 11D which is what I wear in Dan post and my work boots, they were snug at first, pretty tight, when walking they aren’t bad but sitting down they start to make the tops of my feet numb. I was told this is part of the break in process, I have been using a baseball rolled up in a sock shoving it down into the boot where it’s tight, I have sprayed almost a whole bottle of the stretch spray on the leather, I do feel like it’s stretched some but it still slightly is a little tight on the vamp.

I’m going to try and make these work. Hopefully they will, I don’t really want to get another pair and go through the process again. Which is why I specifically choose the ostrich as I know it is suppose to stretch easier, fingers crossed!

These boots are awesome, This is a great company I just wish they fit my foot like Cinderella.

Perfect out of the box

Just a beautifully crafted pair of boots that fit like a glove out of the box. Little snug that wears out after a couple wears . Best pair of boots I’ve ever owned ! Don’t hesitate if you’re looking.

Customer for life

Writing this review for my husband. He has been talking about Chisos for longest time, talking about the company and the quality. So for his 30th Birthday I bought him his first pair and even left Chisos a note about it being such a big milestone for us. They went above and beyond. Needless to say, we will never buy anything but Chisos. There was no break end period, they were instantly perfect for him to wear. We appreciate the care and thoughtfulness that went into our purchase.

Great Boot!

I'll preface this with the fact that I've only worn the boots twice now. The material, craftsmanship, and esthetics are top notch. I am far from a boot expert but they are everything that I imagined that they would be. The only reason for me doing a 4 vs 5 is that I feel like the boots rub me a bit weird on the middle ankle portion/inside...if that makes sense. I do have flat feet and they are not broken in so I assume it'll likely improve. Overall though seems like a quality product that I'm excited to get some more miles in.

Best so far

I am somewhat new to cowboy boots. I have several Tecovas a pair of Rujo, Twisted x and Ariat. These are by far the best I own. The comfort and build quality are far above the others. They cost a little more but you seem to get what you pay for. Will be buying a pair of 5s soon!!

Exceeded my expectations

Comfort, quality & damn good looking. I have had more complements wearing the No. 2 Ostrich boots than any other pair of boots. Highly recommend Chisos boots

Nothing quite like it

The Chisos No. 2—now available in full-quill ostrich. Tanned to perfectly compliment the brushed-brown Chisos heritage cowhide leather you know and love, you will only fully appreciate how stunning it is when you unbox it for yourself.

Selectively-bred South African AAA grade ostrich feels plush without sacrificing durability. Natural variances in leather tone and texture give each pair a unique presence.

Expect your Chisos ostrich boots to feel a little stiff upon arrival. This is by design; the leather breaks in perfectly without becoming floppy (as lower grades are known to do).

The only downside is the time you’ll spend thanking people for their compliments.

Your Chisos boots will last decades with appropriate attention. The vamp (leather surrounding the foot) and leather shaft require only minimal care. Condition this leather about once every three months. Store in a cool, dry location and take a day off between heavy uses to allow the insides to properly dry.

To extend the life of new soles, have a cobbler apply a rubber sole saver upon receipt. No matter what, physics is going to win against leather soles and stitching. To slow the process, a cobbler can add some rubber to mitigate.
