The strengths of the No. 2 lie in its details: the heritage leather hides scuffs and develops a handsome patina over time. The refined square toe is subtle and unique. And the stitching is a nod to the petroglyphs in Big Bend National Park.

Chisos heritage cowhides boast superior durability to juvenile leathers, and our proprietary process renders them uniquely soft. Natural variation occurs by design. Handcrafted in Mexico.

Chisos offers full refunds on like-new items within 90 days of purchase. We also provide free exchanges within the contiguous United States.

Chisos boots fit true to size according to US shoe standards. Simply order the size that you wear most often.

Generally boots will match the same size you wear in other leather footwear, or a half size smaller than your athletic shoes. If you normally waiver between two sizes, select the smaller size.

The conversion between men's and ladies' is approximately 1.5-2 size increments. For example, a Men's 7 D is a Ladies' 8.5 or 9.

Our Best-Selling Boot

Meet the Chisos No. 2, the most popular Chisos boot ever designed. Durable and comfortable. Dress it up or down. Moving comfortably between the ranch and the city, the No. 2 is a true all-around boot.

Specifically tanned to compliment the heritage nature of our leathers, each pair is hand-brushed to reveal its unique story. Natural variances in leather tone and texture ensure your boots stand apart.

And once you pull 'em on for the first time, there's no turning back.

Your Chisos boots will last decades with appropriate attention. The vamp (leather surrounding the foot) and leather shaft require only minimal care. Condition this leather about once every three months. Store in a cool, dry location and take a day off between heavy uses to allow the insides to properly dry.

The leather soles of your boots are designed to wear out and be replaced, much like the brakes on your pickup truck. Your mileage will vary depending on conditions of use, your weight, and your walking style. Avoid repeated exposure to water and excess moisture. When needed, a cobbler can perform a full resole and heel replacement.

To extend the life of new soles, have a cobbler apply a rubber sole saver upon receipt. No matter what, physics is going to win against leather soles and stitching. To slow the process, a cobbler can add some rubber to mitigate.

Outstanding boots and service

Wanted to get back into wearing boots again and my internet search for most comfortable cowboy boots led me to Chisos. Reviews and YouTube videos are 100% accurate. Outstanding boots, high quality, and very comfortable right out of the box. Just as important to me was that their reputation for great customer service was also 100% accurate. I can be in between sizes depending on the boot/shoe. I bought two sizes just to be sure and sent the one back that didn’t fit, no questions asked. Emails were answered right away and in a manner in which it is obvious that they respect the customer and their investment, and they also respect their product by virtue of the quality and craftsmanship that clearly goes into them. Don’t hesitate with the price.. we’ll worth it. When I find something I like I stick with it. I bought the brown #2s and I am looking forward to getting a black pair as well.
Thank you Chisos

I love Texas, so I had to buy these da...n boots.

My Chisos Number No. 2's can be worn to pick cotton during the day and do the Cotton Eyed Joe at night. Just brush 'em off on the back of your Levi's boot cut jeans and head into town.
And while I'm pickin' cotton I put them rascals in the heavy duty cotton bags they are are shipped in. One time I almost filled both of 'em up. Hate to brag, but I calculate it ain't braggin' if it ain't the truth. Get yourself a pair in spite of this semi-strange endorsement. They are excellent for walkin' in.

Amazingly comfortable boot

I’ve owned many different boot brands. I have had these for a month. And I find myself wearing them all day, and don’t think to take them off when I get home. Other boots I take off when I get home cause I start noticing my feet. These I don’t. And I get compliments all the time on thses. Highly recommend these boots. Now to get a pair in roughout

No. 2

Bought these boots at their store in Austin. Was greeted with a tasty beer. Super humble, small staff. Will greated me upon entry and was down to earth and actually sold me my boots. Boots have that broken in feel that only get better with each wear. The removable insoles are nice that can be replaced down the road if necessary. Small company feel with great service that actually cares about their customers and end product. Hard to find that now adays. Highly recommended, and if you can get to the store in Austin, even better.

Great boots.

I own many pairs of premium boots and shoes; therefore, I know and understand the work and care that went into making my pair of handmade Chisos boots. I didn’t need any break in and feel very comfortable.

Btw, I own premium boots, from, Alden’s(Indy boots and shell cordovan) Whites and Nicks. In addition, I own boots from Red Wing, Wolverine(1000 mile), Fryes and Allen Edmonds (shell cordovan). My point is that I know quality and Chisos are quality boots.

Just Awesome!

Received my #2s two days before Christmas. What a nice present to myself.

I could go on and on about how wonderful these are, but I'll just say "ditto" to all the other positive reviews.

After talking to Kris, he said to go withy normal shoe size, and I lucked out; size 12 was spot on......snug but not tight, with enough room to accommodate my bunions. Hallelujah!! And the footbed really helps my Morton's Neuroma.

Problem is: now I want the #1.

Big smiles

Wearing them right now couldn't be happier (well I could be but that's another Cowboy story).

Fit great. Need wear in time.

Overall, love the look and generally the fit.

Fit great on right foot. However left foot was very tight across the top part of my foot initially. Getting better, but still can’t wear for extended periods of time without particularly my left foot hurting.

3rd times a charm! A+ company in my book!

Very helpful a nice folks pleasing to see this in todays times. Makes me want to move south. I ordered a snip toe unfortunately didn’t have my size tried one size down then one up. Had no problems returning very nice very helpful! Ended up with my first square toe flesh out. Really like them wish I’d discovered sooner before buying several other brands. Will definitely buy again.
