Our Best-Selling Boot
Meet the Chisos No. 2, the most popular Chisos boot ever designed. Durable and comfortable. Dress it up or down. Moving comfortably between the ranch and the city, the No. 2 is a true all-around boot.
Specifically tanned to complement the heritage nature of our leathers, each pair is hand-brushed to reveal its unique story. Natural variances in leather tone and texture ensure your boots stand apart.
And once you pull 'em on for the first time, there's no turning back.
Your Chisos boots will last decades with appropriate attention. The vamp (leather surrounding the foot) and leather shaft require only minimal care. Condition this leather about once every three months. Store in a cool, dry location and take a day off between heavy uses to allow the insides to properly dry.
The leather soles of your boots are designed to wear out and be replaced, much like the brakes on your pickup truck. Your mileage will vary depending on conditions of use, your weight, and your walking style. Avoid repeated exposure to water and excess moisture. When needed, a cobbler can perform a full resole and heel replacement.
To extend the life of new soles, have a cobbler apply a rubber sole saver upon receipt. No matter what, physics is going to win against leather soles and stitching. To slow the process, a cobbler can add some rubber to mitigate.
I own 2 pair of #2’s and love them. By far my favorite and last boot brand I’ll buy from.
My first pair were #2 in black. I didn’t check the sizing recommendation and got what I always wear in boots (12D) and after placing the order I read that they recommend going up had a size (12.5D in my case) for high arched feet, which I have very high arches. Nonetheless I powered through the pain and got a boot stretcher which helped bring it to my true size. And it was well worth it. The most comfortable and good looking boots I’ve owned.
My second pair were #2 in brushed brown.
LOVE them. But… I stupidly didn’t go back and check the recommendation so I went off of faulty memory and ordered 12EE and when I still had tightness and pain on my right foot’s instep I decided to revisit the recommendation where I saw I was wrong and they indeed recommended going up half a size, NOT up in width. Again, a night in the boot stretcher and they are an amazing daily and dress boot.
I can’t wait to for them to come out with the whiskey brown again so I can finally ver my true size in 12.5 D but this time I’ll get the #1 as I love their style. Not too pointy, not too round. Just right! Those will defiantly be the pair I wear at my wedding this coming May of 2026.
So I have yet to experience true “out of the box comfort” 100% due to my failure to do my research. I have 100% experienced the broken in comfort and can agree with their slogan.
I found them on RoseAnvil YouTube channel. Go give it a watch if you haven’t and was so impressed that I had to have a pair, then two, hopefully soon 3 hahaha.
For the money, they are not only so well built, traditional, and stylish. But they are in my opinion, with evidence from the YouTube video. The BEST.
I’ve owned many brands of boots in my 74 trips around the sun but none that are this high of quality. They were comfortable right out of the box and are getting better with each wear. Not the cheapest boots I ever bought but well worth the price. I don’t think they will be my last pair of Chisos.
Took the plunge and bought my first pair of Chisos (#2 in Brushed Brown) and all I can say is WOW! The look of them is amazing, the weight and attention to detail is second to none, and when you slip them on for the first time, they feel like home right away. They are only getting better with every wear as well. I have already purchased another pair (#7 in Whiskey) and looking forward to adding more to my boot arsenal. Keep up the good work!
Plenty of online enthusiasm. These boots delivered. The best arch support, achieved with traditional leather and no foam or plastic hiding under the hood. Truly the most comfortable boots I have ever owned. Beats Lucchese hands-down, they should be ashamed.
These No. 2 Rough-outs are my first Chisos boot purchase. They are the most comfortable cowboy boots I have ever owned. I own a lot of heritage work boots and have struggled to find the same quality in cowboy boots. The fact that Chisos are built around an insole sets them apart from other boots that don't accommodate for a cushioned insole. Properly shaped lasts, heirloom construction, and beautiful leathers make these my favorite boots. The only problem I have now found is trying to decide on which boot to buy next, the No. 6 in Brished Brown, or the No. 2 in Ostrich 🤔
I've never worn a pair of cowboy boots that have stretched and broken in so quickly and perfectly as my No. 2s in Brushed Brown. I've already started saving for a pair of No. 1s and No. 5s in Magic Black and another pair of No. 2s in Roughout. If they all wear as great as these, I'll be in boot heaven. The folks at Chisos have been great to me! Gannon helped me through the process of sizing and I think these are perfect. They truly do fit like a "firm handshake." I don't rush home to take them off, I actually wear them until it's time to get ready for bed. They are just THAT comfortable. I'm a fan of these boots, a fan of the Chisos company, and a fan of the Chisos environmental philosophy. Way to go, Will and the gang! Customer for life!
Best damn boots I’ve ever owned and I’ve owned many over my 72 years. What can u say. I love them so much I don’t want to take them off. I just ordered the No 2 in roughout. You guys just kick ass! ☘️☘️☘️
I was nervous to order a pair with out trying them on so I matched my size I wear in my other slip on boots. 9.5 EE and OMG!!! Perfect fit, the first slip on was like butter and legit comfortable from the first step. After 10 days of wearing and forming more to my feet, well I'm speechless tbh. I hope they make the #2 Whiskey in EE and also the #7 in EE, I would have them in my cart already!!!
I had been looking at Chisos for awhile online and decided to purchase. I wasn’t disappointed at all. The boots have a simple classic style. Yes they are comfortable from the start. So comfortable that I decided to purchase 2 more boots, the #6 in brushed brown and #7 in whiskey. The #2 is great boot and after several weeks in my rotation I can it works for different occasions. The only issue which is minor is the circumference of the tops for jeans that are on the narrower side for the leg opening. But they are perfect for boot cut and larger straight taper jeans. The footbed is legit. The boots IMHO are much better made than Tecovas on par with my ML Leddy’s vaquero line of boots.
So, I first heard about Chisos boots from a YouTube channel named "Rose Anvil" who compared it with a bunch of other boots and said the were the most comfortable and very well made. I decided to go for it and am completely happy with my purchase. Initially, I had a issue with the fit being a bit tight but, Chisos was awesome in letting me exchange them for the correct size (thank you). I usually where an 11D in the pull on style but , needed an 11EE for the Chisos No. 2. The exchange was easy and hassle free. Thank you to "y'all" for helping me out. I'm already eyeballing a "Magic Back" pair. If you're hesitating, don't. These things are awesome .
