The strengths of the No. 2 lie in its details: the heritage leather hides scuffs and develops a handsome patina over time. The refined square toe is subtle and unique. And the stitching is a nod to the petroglyphs in Big Bend National Park.

Chisos heritage cowhides boast superior durability to juvenile leathers, and our proprietary process renders them uniquely soft. Natural variation occurs by design. Handcrafted in Mexico.

Chisos provides free shipping on exchanges within the contiguous United States within 90 days of purchase. Product costs are refundable within 30 days of purchase.

For all returns, items must be in like-new condition without scratches nor scuffs. We recommend trying on your boots on carpet to ensure proper fit.

Chisos boots fit true to size according to US shoe standards. Simply order the size that you wear most often.

Generally boots will match the same size you wear in other leather footwear, or a half size smaller than your athletic shoes. If you normally waiver between two sizes, select the smaller size.

The conversion between men's and ladies' is approximately 1.5-2 size increments. For example, a Men's 7 D is a Ladies' 8.5 or 9.

The leather soles of your boots are designed to wear out and be replaced, much like the brakes on your pickup truck. Your mileage will vary depending on conditions of use, your weight, and your walking style. Avoid repeated exposure to water and excess moisture.

When needed, a cobbler can perform a full resole and heel replacement.

Our Best-Selling Boot

Meet the Chisos No. 2, the most popular Chisos boot ever designed. Durable and comfortable. Dress it up or down. Moving comfortably between the ranch and the city, the No. 2 is a true all-around boot.

Specifically tanned to complement the heritage nature of our leathers, each pair is hand-brushed to reveal its unique story. Natural variances in leather tone and texture ensure your boots stand apart.

And once you pull 'em on for the first time, there's no turning back.

Your Chisos boots will last decades with appropriate attention. The vamp (leather surrounding the foot) and leather shaft require only minimal care. Condition this leather about once every three months. Store in a cool, dry location and take a day off between heavy uses to allow the insides to properly dry.

To extend the life of new soles, have a cobbler apply a rubber sole saver upon receipt. No matter what, physics is going to win against leather soles and stitching. To slow the process, a cobbler can add some rubber to mitigate.

Hurt like hell

I’ve bought 5-6 pairs of Chisos for myself and my wife. I’m on my second pair of brushed brown No2 and they honestly hurt like hell. So much that I cannot wear them.

I had to step up half a size. The right boot fits great. The left boot is far too tight in the vamp and toe box. I’ve tried the baseball in a sock trick to make them fit and zero luck.

I hate that I’ve spent $1200 on two pairs of No2 boots now.

This problem didn’t become apparent until after committee to them and I’d worn them a time or two off carpet.

Buyer beware. Wear the hell out of them on carpet before you commit.

Boot Fit Problems

My foot size is 11, the same as my other boots and sneakers. The “2” ‘s are tight, but can be worn 2-3 hours. I’m glad I own a boot jack. Also, the “1”’s I bought 3 months ago, same foot size 11, are so tight I can’t get them on. The 1’s and 2’s are beautiful; but they don’t fit.

The best boots.

The boots I have are the most comfortable fitting and stylish I've owned. I can't wait until I've saved enough to buy the next pair. Great job, folks.

No 2's next is a matching belt

Very well made boots, there has been a lot of thought put into the construction of these boots. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a top notch western boot with a classy look. It's not often these days you are able to support a business with integrity and a true sense that they love what they do.

Best Fitting Boot Ever

Easily the best fitting boot I’ve ever worn. Very comfortable and the leather is very soft. It has become my favorite pair of boots out of the others almost instantly.

Truly Something Special

I got introduced to Chisos by my older brother, who bought the No. 1s in Magic Black. Now that I finally saved up enough money, I got the No. 2s in Brushed Brown because I find the color gorgeous and I like how subtle the design is. Usually I don't care for square toe boots, but these are different. They are tasteful enough to wear with a pearl snap, but casual enough to wear with a t-shirt. I even wear them to church. Next I want to get the No. 6s in Magic Black.

I love Chisos because in a world much different from when cowboy boots were first born, they have returned to expert craftsmanship and thrown in some modern comfort. Their values and slogan are awesome. It grows harder and harder to find companies--and people--like this every year. How wonderful they're here as a standard of excellence in all aspects.

Keep it up Chisos, you're doin' it right!

Comfortable Favorites

I’m so glad I found Chisos. Great customer service. Great boots. My #2s were so wonderful and enjoyable, I had to purchase a pair of #1s!

The fit, the look, the style, the comfort…I love them all!

Great value. Best "bang for your buck."

I will start off by saying that I have not really seriously worn cowboy boots before this pair. I needed arch support and I could never find a pair that fit my lifestyle and provide the arch support I need. This pair works very well. I am able to wear them out on the weekend and at work in a corporate office. They are dressy, comfortable, and made of good quality material. When I buy things like boots, leather jackets, etc., I try my best to find that sweet spot between a good product and a fair price. I try and avoid diminishing returns. I know there are higher quality boots in the world, but this is the best quality you can find for the price.
