The strengths of the No. 2 lie in its details: the heritage leather hides scuffs and develops a handsome patina over time. The refined square toe is subtle and unique. And the stitching is a nod to the petroglyphs in Big Bend National Park.

Chisos heritage cowhides boast superior durability to juvenile leathers, and our proprietary process renders them uniquely soft. Natural variation occurs by design. Handcrafted in Mexico.

Chisos offers full refunds on like-new items within 90 days of purchase. We also provide free exchanges within the contiguous United States.

Chisos boots fit true to size according to US shoe standards. Simply order the size that you wear most often.

Generally boots will match the same size you wear in other leather footwear, or a half size smaller than your athletic shoes. If you normally waiver between two sizes, select the smaller size.

The conversion between men's and ladies' is approximately 1.5-2 size increments. For example, a Men's 7 D is a Ladies' 8.5 or 9.

Our Best-Selling Boot

Meet the Chisos No. 2, the most popular Chisos boot ever designed. Durable and comfortable. Dress it up or down. Moving comfortably between the ranch and the city, the No. 2 is a true all-around boot.

Specifically tanned to compliment the heritage nature of our leathers, each pair is hand-brushed to reveal its unique story. Natural variances in leather tone and texture ensure your boots stand apart.

And once you pull 'em on for the first time, there's no turning back.

Your Chisos boots will last decades with appropriate attention. The vamp (leather surrounding the foot) and leather shaft require only minimal care. Condition this leather about once every three months. Store in a cool, dry location and take a day off between heavy uses to allow the insides to properly dry.

The leather soles of your boots are designed to wear out and be replaced, much like the brakes on a vehicle. Your mileage will vary depending on conditions of use, your weight, and walking style. Avoid repeated exposure to water and excess moisture.

To extend the life of new soles, have a cobbler apply a rubber sole saver upon receipt. When needed, a cobbler can perform a full resole and heel replacement.

Well....

Welp y'all. The hype is real. These boots are insanely comfortable out of the box. By far the best I've ever owned in terms of day one comfort. In terms of looks y'all will be happy to know my sister in law was eyeing these boots all thanksgiving wishing her man had boots that look this good. The square toe is super unique. Not broad, almost round but squared off by the welt. Pretty legit take on a square toe. Fit and finish is top rate. Whoever is putting these together has an eye for detail, and that ain't lost on me. These boots aren't cheap... But the value proposition is justifiable. I've paid more for boots that didn't match this level of quality. Enjoy em!

Wow. Wow!

Let me start off by saying I live in Syracuse NY and I have no business wearing these boots. All of my friends thought I was crazy when I bragged about ordering a $500 pair of cowboy boots but every single one of them apologized when I finally showed them how magical they are. These boots are something else. Beautifully crafted and extremely comfortable! I literally haven’t been able to take them off. Everywhere I go I get compliments on my boots and my confidence has gone through the roof. I feel like I can take on anything the world throws at me when I wear these boots and I’m in love. I can’t wait to purchase my next pair in roughout as soon as a couple more paychecks hit the account.

Recently I also purchased Thursday boots’ new desperados to wear as my “beater” boots since they’re $200 cheaper, but any time I slide them on I can immediately feel the price difference and I always end up wearing the Chisos. Unless it’s raining out I’m wearing the Chisos and I have the confidence they’re going to last me many many years.

Top notch quality and a much better price.

The construction and material quality of these boots is exceptional, making it a good competitor to more expensive brands. The only issue that is very subjective for me is the fit of the boot as I have large arches it feels a bit too tide on tops of the feet but I believe this will be better as it breaks to my feet.

Beautiful craftsmanship!!!

Awesome boot, I’m still breaking them in. First delivery I ordered 10.5 wide, which was a little loose. I then received my 10.5 D’s which are snug. Just waiting for them to loosen up.

Comfy Boot, With Great Quality

After watching Rose Anvil’s video on Chisos, I knew I had to give them a try. I was *not* disappointed. They are made from a very thick leather, and the colors really pop in the sunlight. The rich leather lining runs throughout the entire boot, even into the toe box. Just don’t wear light colored socks, unless you want them pink! The insoles are great for walking around town all day, without feeling too spongy. As a pet owner I appreciate that they are removable; not only for the ability to replace them, but also to remove fur hairs from inside the boot with better ease. My only gripe is that the spur ridge is somewhat fragile. Which is to be expected with an all-leather one. So I can’t fault them for that. Altogether I can definitely recommend Chisos to anyone searching for a quality cowboy boot with lots of “wow” factor.

Great boots, but...

I have two pairs of these boots, so clearly I like them. Sizing is the same as my Nick's, which is a half-size down from my sneaker sizes.

However, my first pair are the roughouts. I'm a huge fan of roughout leather. But the light color picks up crocking from jeans very easily. And while some folks don't care for roughout leather darkening when you apply dubbing to it (I prefer Obenauf's HDLP), this leather does not darken one bit. Good news for those of you who hate the roughout darkening, but as someone who loves to watch the roughout leather darken while applying dubbing (which would help with the crocking), it was a bit of a disappointment.

Now that was the first pair. And as much as I disliked *that* about them, I bought a second pair. So that should tell you how unhappy I am with them. In other words, the comfort is fantastic and the fit is excellent. In fact, the first day I owned them, I wore them for ten hours, on my feet, on concrete, all day with no ill effects.

My second pair, in the black magic, is by far my favorite pair of boots. The fit is even better than the roughouts, they're still very comfortable, and they are nice enough to pair with dark wash jeans and a jacket. Nice enough to pair with a suit, if I could find a suit with trousers cut for jeans.

These boots haven't - and won't - completely displace my Nick's boots for working outdoors and they sadly cannot replace my dress boots for wear with my suits (until I can find a suit that plays well with them), but they are my favorites and what I choose to wear pretty much all day every day that I'm not trudging through snow, bushwhacking in the back country, or need to wear a suit.

What would I do different? Well, I wouldn't have bought the roughouts, if I could do it over again. I'd do the brushed brown, instead, and I'd absolutely do another pair of the black magic (and I probably will buy another pair in black magic to leave pristine and pickup the slack when I have to have my first pair resoled - and maybe I'll buy a pair in brushed brown to alternate with my blacks and leave the roughouts as a beataround pair). And as a fan of roughout, I hope to see a darker brown roughout and, what I'd really like to see, a black roughout.

Finally, the crew at Chisos has been an absolute pleasure to deal with, quickly responding to my emails, even about small and mundane details.

Happy Thanksgiving, guys!

Yup

If your contemplating getting a pair just do it. I’m very much picky when it comes to boots. But these are legit. They also have a very nice staff and super fast shipping at least to Texas…

They run true to size. I’m usually a 13 in tennis shoes. 11.5 in red wings and I was a 12.5 in these and they fit like a glove.

Very nice boots

These are high quality and good fitting boots. I did have to wear a 1/2 size smaller and use boot stretchers to give a little more top space.

Great looking comfortable boot

So, a few weeks back I bought the black no. 2’s. Have to say they are a nice looking boot. I was a little apprehensive initially as I am not the biggest fan of wide square toe boots. I tend to be a little more traditional western boot. However, these boots are closer to a French toe and have a really nice look and feel about them. I chose a 9D as that’s my normal size. The boots fit a little more snug than I like, but chose to stay with the size and place a thinner insole in them. Within a few days of wearing them, they loosened up enough where I was able to place the original insole back in and wear them. All in all, a great comfortable boot and will buy more. See you guys in April when I visit Austin. Hope to pick up a no.5

Magic Black and Roughout

Started with the Magic Black and had to add the Roughout. Great boots that are perfect for my needs. Fast break in and all day comfort. Great all around boots I highly recommend.
