Perfect fit, and incredibly comfortable I really love these boots and the quality is unmatched for the price. The people are great as well I received a handwritten note thanking me for my military service first company that cared enough to send a note that someone actually took the time to write out it really means a lot!!
I will be buying all mine and family’s boots going forward from Chisos
I have flat feet that hurt all the time no matter what shoes or boots I’m wearing. Some are better than others, but they all hurt at least a little bit. Boots are very difficult for me, but I love them. I’ve tried a ton of different brands and styles, but none of them have been as comfortable as my Chisos boots. These things are seriously made well. The Chisos insoles are great. I haven’t even tried my insoles that I normally use. I love everything about these boots.
I was impressed. I had a hiccup. I ordered the #2 in brown brushed. I had to return them due to an imperfection on the side wall. Had what looked like a bubble. I sent
The photos and chispa paid for the return. I ordered black this time. They are great. Overall I am highly satisfied with quality and easiness of wear. They broke in quickly. The only thing is when I sent back the brown ones I put back the coozie and stickers. I never got them back when I ordered the black ones. Besides that great experience.
I loved my No. 2’s in brushed brown so much, I had to get another pair. This time I went with rough out and man, Chisos just doesn’t disappoint!
A few friends and myself met at the shop in Austin one day. Chisos was recommended by one of them and a few of us were looking for new boots. We ended up buying 9 pairs of boots between the guys in our group that day.
I think they actually run a little narrow. They were tight across the top of my foot but after a few days of breaking them in and a little stretching, they now fit perfect. I’ve worn them daily for three weeks now and put miles and miles on them. They’re the most comfortable boot I’ve ever bought.
I get compliments about them daily (surprised so many people look at feet and shoes). I bought my son a pair as well. I highly recommend them and will be getting more in the future.
I was a first-time boot buyer and I had heard a lot of good things online about Chisos. I also checked out some interviews with the founder, Will Roman, and liked the company’s vision. What really sold me was the video where Will cut open some Tecovas, Luccheses, and a pair of Chisos and explained the different parts of the boot and why Chisos is superior (brilliant marketing, Will). When I got the boots in, I noticed one of them had a crease in the toe part of the boot and it seemed like it had been worn before and maybe resoled. Being a first time boot buyer, I’m not sure if some boots are just like that. At any rate, they are super comfortable except for the strap at the top. It chafed my leg really bad the first time I wore them. I’ll probably put a buffer of some sort on there so it doesn’t do that in the future. Other than that, the boots look great and and are comfortable on my feet.
Gave these to my husband for Christmas, I’ve never seen him so excited about a gift. They fit perfect and look amazing. Thank you!
I have large and somewhat wide feet, and was worried that the boot might present a fit problem. I contacted staff beforehand and received a recommendation for a size that turned out to be exceptional. Chisos boots are extraordinarily comfortable, and the purchasing experience far exceeded my expectations. Wonderful boots!!!!!
Great pair of boots, they are indeed comfortable and cant wait to see em broken in.
This review is a long time coming. I’ve had these boots a while now and they are great boots very comfortable. I am unable to wear them right now because it’s winter here in Alberta Canada we have lots of snow and it’s really cold these aren’t the best boots to be wearing in this weather. I was able to wear them for a bit before the weather changed. They aren’t fully broke in yet it will still take a bit to reach that point but so far I am very happy with the purchase. Yes they are a very expensive pair of boots but I am a person who believes you get what you pay for. I do find them very tight around the upper front part of my foot and have been wearing thicker socks to try and stretch them out. All in all these are a great looking pair of boots and you won’t be disappointed with your purchase.

Our Best-Selling Boot
Meet the Chisos No. 2, the most popular Chisos boot ever designed. Durable and comfortable. Dress it up or down. Moving comfortably between the ranch and the city, the No. 2 is a true all-around boot.
Specifically tanned to complement the heritage nature of our leathers, each pair is hand-brushed to reveal its unique story. Natural variances in leather tone and texture ensure your boots stand apart.
And once you pull 'em on for the first time, there's no turning back.
Your Chisos boots will last decades with appropriate attention. The vamp (leather surrounding the foot) and leather shaft require only minimal care. Condition this leather about once every three months. Store in a cool, dry location and take a day off between heavy uses to allow the insides to properly dry.
The leather soles of your boots are designed to wear out and be replaced, much like the brakes on your pickup truck. Your mileage will vary depending on conditions of use, your weight, and your walking style. Avoid repeated exposure to water and excess moisture. When needed, a cobbler can perform a full resole and heel replacement.
To extend the life of new soles, have a cobbler apply a rubber sole saver upon receipt. No matter what, physics is going to win against leather soles and stitching. To slow the process, a cobbler can add some rubber to mitigate.
