I grew up in Northern Michigan in the 70s and 80s, and I was always a little different than the other girls. I thought art was a V-twin Knucklehead or a faded tattoo. When I went off to college and wandered into my first cowboy boot store, I bought a pair of art to put on my feet. Somewhere down the line I lost track of that first pair of boots and got away from Western culture and clothing altogether. Then I moved to Fort Worth and after about a year I decided I wanted a new pair of boots. These days though the market is saturated and my back is a lot more particular about what I put my feet in. I turned to Google for some initial advice and put in the search bar, “best cowboy boots.” Some old familiar names came up and I diligently searched through the list, not really finding anything special. Nothing I would call art. Until I landed on the Chisos website and the No 4, especially in the Brushed Brown. I sat back and held my breath and said, “Oh my.” Then I watched the videos on the Chisos origin story and how they’re made and how the company gives back to the land, and then I knew I not only had to own a pair of these boots but I had to be a part of this art that had been created. When they came, I could smell them in the parcel locker before I opened it. They smelled like a fancy dessert that would come after a five star meal. I brought the box home and opened it and admired them in person. But not for long. Soon they were on my feet. As beautiful as they are, this type of art is not meant to be hung on a wall or stuck in a corner. It’s meant to be worn and lived in and that’s what I’ve been doing. I I love my life even more now that I have this pair of Chisos on my feet. I can go forth and live as art. Thank you!
I haven’t taken them off since they arrived!! (In beautiful packaging by the way). The hand written note was a loving touch.
Seriously the most comfortable pair of boots I’ve ever tried on or owned. I absolutely adore the stitching as well. I just love my new boots. I’m a true believe and supporter of this brand. Do you yourself a favor and invest in a great pair of boots for life, they are worth every penny.
My #4 in Magic Black are my obsession. I researched a lot of boots before I made the choice to invest in them and I'm loving it. I wear them a lot. They're comfortable and stunning. They quality is off the charts. They're very artistic and not cliché. I didn't want a standard abstract design, flowers, or flames. Those are everywhere. My #4s are artistic and very high quality.
To start with ordered wife wrong size. Chiso’s was quick to issue return shipping and then she received her boots promptly.
After a few days one of the boots heals began to separate from bottom of boot slightly. Contacted Chiso’s and was given 3 options
1 return for exchange
2 return and have their cobbler fix it
3 use a cobbler of our own and get a 50 dollar credit
We opted for return and repaired. They did a fantastic job. Wife loves her boots! So glad I got them for her.
So comfortable! Very cute, well made. Company was easy to work with as well
Was excited to see these ladies higher boots. Have been looking for this type boot to add to my Chisos collection. They are gorgeous, fit great and have worn them several times very comfortably.
These boots are beautiful and comfortable. They pair perfectly with my husbands Chisos 1 Ostrich. We went out dancing last night and are enjoying wearing them.
These are exceptional boots.I have these in the suede as well and love them so much. The craftsmanship is beautiful and they are comfortable out of the box. Can’t say enough good things about Chisos and their products. Truly a wonderful company with top notch customer service!
I wore these to the Bass Hall in Fort Worth for a “stretch in” because I knew I wanted to wear them for a long night of standing at a concert in a couple of weeks. There was absolutely zero breaking these boots in! They were so comfortable that I forgot I had them on! Gorgeous and comfortable?! I’ll take them in every color possible! Have been telling ALL of my friends they need them!
(true to size)
Highest quality boots I've ever had. A boot cobbler in Kansas City agreed. Don't take my word for it. Check YouTube and other reviews and see for yourself. Still need to break them in but plenty comfy right now. Juan, the store manager, took care of me and was very helpful. Thanks Juan.
