Specifically tanned to complement the heritage nature of our leathers, each pair is hand-brushed to reveal its unique story. Natural variances in leather tone and texture ensure your boots stand apart.

And once you pull 'em on for the first time, there's no turning back.

Your Chisos boots will last decades with appropriate attention. The vamp (leather surrounding the foot) and leather shaft require only minimal care. Condition this leather about once every three months. Store in a cool, dry location and take a day off between heavy uses to allow the insides to properly dry.

The leather soles of your boots are designed to wear out and be replaced, much like the brakes on your pickup truck. Your mileage will vary depending on conditions of use, your weight, and your walking style. Avoid repeated exposure to water and excess moisture. When needed, a cobbler can perform a full resole and heel replacement.

To extend the life of new soles, have a cobbler apply a rubber sole saver upon receipt. No matter what, physics is going to win against leather soles and stitching. To slow the process, a cobbler can add some rubber to mitigate.

Truly are very comfortable boots

Truly are very comfortable boots. There is nothing fancy in the way they look, just a pair of dark brown boots. But the comfort …. Very nice.

I was surprised about how much difference an extra 1/8 could make on the heel. For me, the heel to toe drop is at time an issue on my old legs. May try a #6 next time.

Finally got a pair and wished I bought sooner. Def the most comfortable pair of boots I’ve ever worn. I look for any reason now to get dressed and wear these boots! Manic black and rough out are next. Wish I was rich.

Got my #1’s in black back in January and loved them but really wanted to keep them nice for dress boots for wearing with suits and special nights out. Decided to try the #2 Roughout for a daily wear boot and I couldn’t be happier. First day out wore them seven hours did a lot of walking and standing and they were incredibly comfortable. Can’t wait for that worn a lot patina to set in.

You get people who wear these boots, know these boots and are focused on putting you in the right boot and ensure you get exactly what you want. Gannon is amazing and very patient! The matching belts have become a must for me and they echo the quality of the boots! The Chisos conditioner is just as amazing . It works miracles on all leather products. I currently rotate the brushed brown and roughouts daily. With every wear I get compliments on how beautiful they are and many times I’m asked what brand they are and where they can find them. The “ Damn Comfy” isn’t just hype. It’s solid truth and backed up by the best customer service in the industry. I’m also very impressed that Chisos has no desire to expand into mass production that always leads to reductions in quality control. I’m also very impressed with Chisos care and concern with sustainability, Using heritage leather and no man made products in their boots and s portion of each sale being donated to Big Bend ( home of the Chisos mountains) Park.

Love the boots

Love the boots. They look absolutely amazing. That being said, I fell into the category of being tough to fit with these. When I first put them on they were TIGHT! Almost felt too tight but fit in all the right places so I figured I just needed to break them in. After using a boot stretcher they fit much better and I've been able to break them in by wearing them around. They are PERFECT now. Look and feel amazing. Couldn't be happier with them and I really appreciated the first responder discount!
