I have numerous pair of boots and have been wanting a pair of good ostrich boots for the past couple of years. I looked at all the usual brands and was leaning toward purchasing a pair of Lucchese. However, Lucchese had a dark pair and a light pair but not the exact color I was looking for. I came across that Chisos boots and did some research and decided to give them a try. I’ve only had them about a month, but really enjoy them so far. I ordered a pair of Dan Post boots, a pair of Hyer boots, and a pair of Chisos. I sent the other two back. I love the color and look of the Chisos boots the best! They go well with jeans and dress pants. I wish they had the Chisos mountains on the upper like their other boots do. I also wish they were made in the USA. They are probably the best pair of boots that I own!
I ordered a size 11 and they fit moved I typically were at 11 in most boots but wear a 10 1/2 in Ariats. I hope this helps someone else get the size they need.
Wow, these boots are awesome. Feel great, look great, and receive plenty of compliments. I thought I'd only wear them occasionally, but I find myself always looking to wear them whenever I can. Having watched multiple youtube videos on this company, and now actually owning a pair myself, I can tell these are truly top notch boots.
The King Roper is a great looking boot. I would have given it a 5 star but I just wished that the shaft had some type of embroidery related to the Chisos mountains. Other wise the fit is great. I can use the insert provided by Chisos or my prescribed orthotics. Great product!
tried to put them on the first day i recieved them an that was a 30 min ordeal i have to be honest at this point im a little disappointed as to why the boots are made in this manner it was so aggravating that at this point ive just set them aside an not worn them yet
I was content paying $600 to $800 for a pair of nice boots but I just couldn't bring myself to pay $1300 for a pair. I regret not buying them sooner! The quality is top notch. The fit is superb, absolute favorite pair of boots! If you are on the fence, just do yourself a favor and get the damn things and thank me later!
Great boots when it comes to comfort and style took these boys for a long walking day trip and they held up great
So first off I’m slightly biased because I already own three other pair of Chisos; this pair my fourth. Out of all my Cowboy/ Roper boots these are the most Comfortable premium and fragrant sweet smelling leather I have had the pleasure of using my sense of smell to smell. These are expensive, but you pay for what you get. I was a little hesitant about full quill ostrich because of the look and the quills but I love them. I own about 12 to 13 other pair and brands of cowboy boots in total including my custom ones and theses are my favorite. A quick shout out to Jeremiah Craig for reviewing these boots on his YouTube channel i bought them because of that review. Also thanks to Will and the Chisos team for providing him with a pair to do so. Added a few out in the field pics….Cheers !!!!!
Love my new king ropers, very comfortable and love the look of them. Would highly recommend them, and very well made!!!
I've been wearing cowboy boots for 40 years at least 4 days a week. Recently I've had some lower back issues, causing discomfort wearing my other pairs of boots. The Chisos are much more comfortable and have allowed me to get back to wearing boots on a regular basis. They are worth the money.
I purchased the King Roper in 12D. The boot didn't fit as snug as many other brands across the top of my foot. The 12D fits more like a 12EE so I'd recommend going a size down to avoid the flipping in the heel like I'm experiencing.. Unfortunately, I didn't try them on in a carpeted area so I couldn't return for a smaller size. Other than that, its a great boot.
