Our Best-Selling Boot
Meet the Chisos No. 2, the most popular Chisos boot ever designed. Durable and comfortable. Dress it up or down. Moving comfortably between the ranch and the city, the No. 2 is a true all-around boot.
Specifically tanned to complement the heritage nature of our leathers, each pair is hand-brushed to reveal its unique story. Natural variances in leather tone and texture ensure your boots stand apart.
And once you pull 'em on for the first time, there's no turning back.
Your Chisos boots will last decades with appropriate attention. The vamp (leather surrounding the foot) and leather shaft require only minimal care. Condition this leather about once every three months. Store in a cool, dry location and take a day off between heavy uses to allow the insides to properly dry.
The leather soles of your boots are designed to wear out and be replaced, much like the brakes on your pickup truck. Your mileage will vary depending on conditions of use, your weight, and your walking style. Avoid repeated exposure to water and excess moisture. When needed, a cobbler can perform a full resole and heel replacement.
To extend the life of new soles, have a cobbler apply a rubber sole saver upon receipt. No matter what, physics is going to win against leather soles and stitching. To slow the process, a cobbler can add some rubber to mitigate.
The No. 2 is my first cowboy boot and offers instant comfort and quality. The premium leather looks incredibly sharp and smells amazing right out of the box.
I had been thinking about pulling the trigger on Roughout #2’s for a while… wish I had done so sooner. They are comfortable out of the box and the feel is like no other boot I’ve ever stepped on. After about 30 hours of wear I still had a little too much heel slip than was comfortable due to a narrow foot/heel. I reached out for some suggestions and Gannon replied in less than a day with some tips. Heeding some advice, the adjustments fixed the issue and I can honestly say the worst part of my day is when I have to take these beauties off my feet.
These boots are amazing! Never paid this much for any boot but this investment
is totally worth it! They were comfortable from the first day I put them on and are currently breaking in nicely. Keep em comin' Chisos!!!
Boots are great. Went with my brannock size, seem to fit fine. Plenty of toe room in the #2's. The leather is great, nice and thick. Overall they are very well made and I feel like I got my money's worth. Would like to see more color variations on future offerings, maybe peanut? Far and ahead nicer boots than my luchesse calfskin.
These are the most comfortable boots right of the box! You can see craftsmanship & feel the quality plus they look great with a suit or everyday wear around town. I definitely recommend them!
Customer service was excellent. The quality of materials and fit seems to be quite good. My only complaint is very minor. The smell of the boots is overpowering and fills any room they are in. Hoping that goes away with time. Other than that....Love 'em!
I received my first pair of Chisos boots. I selected the No. 2 in the brushed brown color. I've heard and read about how good these boots are. Well folks, they aint fibbing. These boots are top notch. From the the quality of the packaging to the boots themselves, Chisos screams quality. I own Lucchese, Tony Lama, Ariat, Tecovas - all good boots for sure - but I've got to stay that these Chisos boots are the best I've worn to date.
They don't skimp on the quality of the leather. The mil thickness is greater than any of the other boots mentioned. The sole and heel stack are extremely well made. I really like the 11" shaft height. They are more comfortable than 12 or 13"; especially if you have big calves.
Included is a hand written thank you note for my purchase. Well done Chisos! I only wish you would offer size EE in the Chisos No. 1 and No. 6.
Great boot. Super comfortable and well made. I like them so much I got a pair of Ropers. Chisos, you guys need to make a flat toed boot with roper heels. A combo of the No. 2 and the No. 6 I think would be really popular!
I really loved these boots at first. I got concerned they were stretching too far as they were getting loose in the mornings. So I put a simple rubber insole in between yours and the footbed. That became uncomfortable. I wore them to Austin and visited the store. I spoke with I think it was Juan and he said that was normal. Now I am in the process of breaking them in again properly. They are incredibly comfortable and I look forward to many years of wear. They are worth every penny spent. You guys have a great product and I look forward to a future purchase. FYI, if you could find a way to do a light dye on the leather, I’m in! Thanks and take care.
