Cowhide

The strengths of the No. 2 lie in its details: the heritage leather hides scuffs and develops a handsome patina over time. The refined square toe is subtle and unique. And the stitching is a nod to the petroglyphs in Big Bend National Park.

Chisos heritage cowhides boast superior durability to juvenile leathers, and our proprietary process renders them uniquely soft. Natural variation occurs by design. Handcrafted in Mexico.

Chisos provides free shipping on exchanges within the contiguous United States within 90 days of purchase. Product costs are refundable within 30 days of purchase.

For all returns, items must be in like-new condition without scratches nor scuffs. We recommend trying on your boots on carpet to ensure proper fit.

Chisos boots fit true to size according to US shoe standards. Simply order the size that you wear most often.

Generally boots will match the same size you wear in other leather footwear, or a half size smaller than your athletic shoes. If you normally waiver between two sizes, select the smaller size.

The conversion between men's and ladies' is approximately 1.5-2 size increments. For example, a Men's 7 D is a Ladies' 8.5 or 9.

The leather soles of your boots are designed to wear out and be replaced, much like the brakes on your pickup truck. Your mileage will vary depending on conditions of use, your weight, and your walking style. Avoid repeated exposure to water and excess moisture.

When needed, a cobbler can perform a full resole and heel replacement.

Our Best-Selling Boot

Meet the Chisos No. 2, the most popular Chisos boot ever designed. Durable and comfortable. Dress it up or down. Moving comfortably between the ranch and the city, the No. 2 is a true all-around boot.

Specifically tanned to complement the heritage nature of our leathers, each pair is hand-brushed to reveal its unique story. Natural variances in leather tone and texture ensure your boots stand apart.

And once you pull 'em on for the first time, there's no turning back.

Your Chisos boots will last decades with appropriate attention. The vamp (leather surrounding the foot) and leather shaft require only minimal care. Condition this leather about once every three months. Store in a cool, dry location and take a day off between heavy uses to allow the insides to properly dry.

To extend the life of new soles, have a cobbler apply a rubber sole saver upon receipt. No matter what, physics is going to win against leather soles and stitching. To slow the process, a cobbler can add some rubber to mitigate.

Great personnal service. Beyond all expectations.

We traveled a long way to visit the store (3 days). Juan accommodated our schedule with a private fitting. Not sure if this is normal or special but either way much appreciated because my feet are apparently hard to fit. Juan had boots all over the floor. When I finally got a great fit I left with the perfect pair of boots. I am very happy. Without Juan's help it would have been a catastrophe. Thanks again Juan.

No shit…

They don’t lie… darn comfortable fit and made well. If you’re on the fence watch the Rose Anvil YouTube videos on boots., you’ll be surprised and ready to buy a pair of these. If you want the whole small business experience, visit them in Austin… it won’t disappoint.
Oh! And I need a calendar of events for that backyard hang out area. I’m so in if I’m in town!

Best By Far

I own a $1100 pair of Lucchese great boot. Bought six pair of Tecovas at one time big mistake should just purchased one pair first. I gave away all my Tecovas. Chisos is by far the best boot I have ever owned. The quality and softness of the texture is amazing unprecedented it’s like a gloves on my feet!

Quality

Nice quality boots, the nice comfort comes from the insoles which can be added to any boot. Am happy with the product, but could have purchased 2 pairs of Watson's for the same price, added insoles and have a choice of color. They are very nice boots

Best boots on the Market

No. 2 Whiskey. I have the same boot in dark brown and love them. The fit is wonderful and I can’t wait to complete the break-in process ( it’s very quick and easy). I’m glad I made this investment.

Third pair

These are my third pair of Chisos. I have a pair of #5 Roughout, #2 Roughtout and now these, #2 Whiskey. Love them. My Roughouts are y every day boots, these are for dressier occasions.

Better everyday!

Being a first time cowboy boot owner at 55 was an adjustment to get them on and off the first few times. I built a boot jack, wrapped it leather- walla!! Now after 2 to 3 weeks of wearing them they fit great and much easier to put on and remove. Love the luck and feel and know it will get better every time I wear them looking forward to it.

Most comfortable boots ever!

I first ordered a half size down and realized it was too small. I then went up half a size to 9.5 EE based on the recommendation in the system. Boots got here quick and I must say they are the most comfortable boots I have. Im wearing thick merino wool socks as the EE is a tiny bit to big for me but it works. Now I know my size my next pair should be perfect.

Construction is top notch and the stiching in the shaft makes it pretty unique. The inside sole is amazing and you really dont need a break in period. Great boots for everyday wear and looking forward to my next pair.
