Nothing quite like it
The Chisos No. 2—now available in full-quill ostrich. Tanned to perfectly compliment the brushed-brown Chisos heritage cowhide leather you know and love, you will only fully appreciate how stunning it is when you unbox it for yourself.
Selectively-bred South African AAA grade ostrich feels plush without sacrificing durability. Natural variances in leather tone and texture give each pair a unique presence.
Expect your Chisos ostrich boots to feel a little stiff upon arrival. This is by design; the leather breaks in perfectly without becoming floppy (as lower grades are known to do).
The only downside is the time you’ll spend thanking people for their compliments.
Your Chisos boots will last decades with appropriate attention. The vamp (leather surrounding the foot) and leather shaft require only minimal care. Condition this leather about once every three months. Store in a cool, dry location and take a day off between heavy uses to allow the insides to properly dry.
The leather soles of your boots are designed to wear out and be replaced, much like the brakes on your pickup truck. Your mileage will vary depending on conditions of use, your weight, and your walking style. Avoid repeated exposure to water and excess moisture. When needed, a cobbler can perform a full resole and heel replacement.
To extend the life of new soles, have a cobbler apply a rubber sole saver upon receipt. No matter what, physics is going to win against leather soles and stitching. To slow the process, a cobbler can add some rubber to mitigate.

I am somewhat new to cowboy boots. I have several Tecovas a pair of Rujo, Twisted x and Ariat. These are by far the best I own. The comfort and build quality are far above the others. They cost a little more but you seem to get what you pay for. Will be buying a pair of 5s soon!!
Comfort, quality & damn good looking. I have had more complements wearing the No. 2 Ostrich boots than any other pair of boots. Highly recommend Chisos boots
I can’t over state the fact that this is the first and only boot I’ve ever truly fit into in 40 years. I’m a native Texan and grew up in El Paso. This is the best cowboy boot I’ve ever experienced. It’s not just the boot but the experience and the people behind the boots that are special. This will be the only place you will want to buy from ever. The size I bought was 8D. The size I wear in Brooks running shoes is 82E. My left foot is a size 8E, my right is 7.5E. According to a Brannock device. The 8D fit great! All I will say about experience……Kris.. dude… you are amazing and awesome! Fuckin A! I’m buying more! A lot more!
Bought these boots for a special occasion never before had I ever worn cowboy boots. heard all the horror stories of the pain of breaking in boots like these ..Not Chisos.. Everyone at the party love my boots I can't stop spreading the word . Got home that night and was kind of sad to take them off🥺🤣
Good things about these boots. The #2 ostrich is my second pair of Chisos. They are by far the most comfortable boots I have. Trying to decide on the rough out #5 as I write this!
I had been shopping for a good quality boot that wasn’t built in bulk and I came across the Chisos boots and I can’t be happier with the quality, comfort, and strength of the boots. I don’t have to baby these boots and worry about scuffs or where I walk and what I walk in. The Chisos #3 allow me to never stress about the abuse that boots can take and when I take them off, I wipe down and they look as good as new.
I highly recommend these boots for anyones lifestyle that’s looking for a great quality boot that will last for years on end. If you’re a trendy person just wanting a brand name to fit in or to show off a more recognizable name than you’d probably never wear a boot for the purpose their built and use them as intended. Fir those that want a great quality boot that you can work in all day and go dancing at night than buy Chisos, it’ll be the last brand you buy.
These boots look great. They felt great by day 2 of wearing them. These boots are a little on the heavy side, but that speaks to the quality and craftsmanship.
I now have three pair of Chisos boots and the new Ostrich have quickly become my favorites. They were comfortable from day one and I highly recommend them to anyone.
Anyone familiar with Chisos already knows the quality of the boot. From its all-leather construction inside and out to a leather stacked heel with a leather Spur Ridge, I might add (one of the only boots that still does this), to a leather heel counter, which way too many boots have now. I could go on, but you can do a search on Chisos and find out all you want about the quality of the boot.
What I like about the new Ostrich boot is how quickly it is broken in. After only three wears, I no longer must wear my boot socks to keep blisters off my calves. The insole is just as comfortable as my past Chisos, except the dye doesn’t seem to transfer onto my socks as the old ones did. Did they change it? It sure seems so.
The color of the brown is fantastic, and the quills appear to be from the Crown and or Groin area. I did not find any skin defects or damage to either of the boots, which indicates this is grade A leather.
I love how the boot feels while wearing it, and the arch support it gives me is the best of any boot I own. This is truly a boot I can wear all day long and is a boot that can go from casual to dress and look good doing it.
If you haven’t given the Ostrich a try, I suggest you do it before they’re gone I don’t think you will be disappointed.
