Chisos has proved to be the benchmark of customer service. I now own 2 pairs of Chisos. I've been wearing my new brown No 2 boots for a couple weeks. I appreciate the video Chisos did on maintenance as well.
By far the best pair of boots I have ever worn. Fit perfectly right out of the box and the #2s are certainly an eye catcher.
I googled a boot place while visiting Austin TX. I wanted small, local, handcrafted. Chico’s came up with just a few reviews but all 5 stars. So I popped in. They were not open; BUT, the owner opened the door and let me try some on. They absolutely are as comfortable as people say! So I bought my first pair! This MN suburban girl is loving her authentic cowboy boots and have worn them every week since getting them. They even shipped them to me so I don’t have to haul them on the plane. Arrived in 3 days!
Got the #2 in Magic Black, felt just right, ordered the wallet and belt and balm. Liked 'em so much I got 'em in Brushed Brown with the belt to match. Believe me, you want the belt and trust the sizing recommendation. I wear 33x32 jeans, ordered the 34 belt and the fit is just right. forget the fact that all my other belts are 38. Just like when I was in Texas, everything about the experience just feels right. No longer have to choose which boots to wear in consideration of how much walking will be done. All the other boots in my collection now wish they could be as comfortable. Unexpected bonus is how you feel in Chisos boots, you'll stand up taller and straighter and feel great. This is my first trip to Austin Texas and I will have to come back to buy more Chisos amazing quality hand built boots. The fit and comfort of these boots is the best I have ever felt. Unbelievable how great these boots feel. Thank you to the Chisos team for such an amazing and high quality boot. Its a must to stop in at Chisos just to feel there quality and fit.
I love my Chisos #4 boots. They are incredibly comfortable and beautiful. The leather is buttery, and the subtle sun and moon design is stunning! They are also exceptionally well made. I don't have enough adjectives to adequately convey how great these boots are!
I ordered the Black Ostrich full quill in an 11D. When I received them and tried the on they were too tight. My first thought was I hope this is not going to be a hassle to exchange and it wasn’t. It was very easy, Chisos has an automated return process, Print label, list size you would like to exchange for, mine 11.5 D, drop off at UPS, new boots, perfect fit show up in a few days. Awesome customer service. Really nice boots and a real step up from previous pairs of Ostrich I own. I highly recommend!!
I’m newer to cowboy boots and spent a painstaking amount of time researching brands, and went through a lot of purchase and return trial and error. I started with a more entry level price point, but could not get a size that worked, 10.5 being too small and 11 being clearly too big. Wish I would have started with Chisos, as the No.5 roughout in size 11 fit absolutely perfectly and couldn’t be more comfortable right out of the box. After a couple weeks of wear, they’re only getting better. Can’t wait to see how these things age. Couldn’t recommend more highly - worth every penny!
The boots have a different fit, firm, but comfortable. Beautiful boots that are more comfortable than any other shoes or boots I have. They are slimmer and less bulky, making them look great,than other boots, but fit great. Will be buying more!

I live in the jungles of Papua New Guinea. Reckon I might be your 1st customer from here. Anyway, cut to the chase. Delivery time to Australia was very speedy. Getting them here was another story. Boots fitted fine 1st time. Were tighter across the instep than mass market boots I own. Not a bad thing though as they've become part of my foot. The aesthetics are excellent. Not too showy but still dressy. Best bonus has been the aroma of fresh leather throughout my dressing room. Just won't go away. Love it! Can't fault the build quality. I have no doubt they will outlive this septuagenarian.
This is my third pair of Chisos in the last year started off with number two brown Then number two ostrich brown, now I have got number two magic black I love all of them perfect fit right out of the box my exact size.
I have not worn them much, the fit was the exact size I wear in most shoes. Pretty damn comfortable boot, and is a fine piece of beautiful leather craft. Thanks Chisos
My wife has the had the #4’s for a few months and loves them! Now she has the #3’s too and loves those as well! She is always getting compliments on both! She is a bit jealous though, because there are more choices for men. We’re both looking forward to what Chisos will come out with next (for men and women)!!
My Chisos #2 Roughout are my third pair of Chisos, and my second pair of #2’s! They fit perfect, are super comfortable, after just an hour of walking in them, and look fantastic. I plan to take these boots on a ranch vacation in Wyoming this summer! I also have the King Roper’s and am looking forward to what Chisos will come out with next!
To make it simple, this part is mandatory! My boots fit like a glove but without the boot jack it looks really stupid to take the shoes off. Guys, if you say A, you also have to say B, if you wear Chisos you can't get past a boot Jack like that, otherwise everyone will laugh at you if you can't get your boots off on the evening of a long day at work ;)... Guys, I'm totally amazed, the boots fit like they were tailor-made for me and are super comfortable too. Worn for 20 hours on the first day and still comfortable... incredibly good! By the way, here in Germany nobody walks around with Chnisos, I'm constantly asked about the boot, just WOOOW, I`m in love! Greetings from Frankfurt/Germany. Rob
