Mighty fine boots! Excellent craftsmanship and quality. Fit true to size and comfortable. Would buy these again on any given day! Thank you Chisos!
Without any hint of overstatement, these are the best boots money can buy.
My kids will grow up seeing these boots on me for years. Excellent build, sharply dresses up or down, and surprisingly comfortable. These are a do-everything heirloom. The only problem: now I want to buy a pair of the matching women's snip toes (ladies no4's) for my wife-to-be...
This belt is unexpectedly comfortable. Looks great, aging beautifully, and why the hell doesn't everybody space the holes at 3/4" like Chisos has done here??
It’s Perfect. Just the right size for minimal carry. Chisos also has great customer service as well. Bonus the wallet smells terrific and they hook you up with stickers!
I started wearing cowboy boots not too long ago. Been searching for the most comfortable boots I can find. Have 7 pairs so far. I would say Chisos no 1 is by far the pair with the best quality and most comfortable. Initially it was really snug across the vamp. After reading various forums, I decided to stick with it. Took me about 2 weeks to break it in. Once it did, boy it was really comfortable. 100% recommend the boots to anyone. Glad I did not return it.
Hands-down, the very best boots.
Fit is perfect and very comfortable walking in
I will not buy any other brand of Boot after these
My sweetheart loved his new belt. Didn't expect anything like it for his BD, so it was quite a surprise. Kinda threw him off with a bird house and a headset, but as soon as he ripped the paper off the box and saw Chisos, his face was priceless! So he's got boots, wallet and belt...what's next?
Fit perfect in my chisos no 2 ostrich. They also fit great in my black jack boots as well. If the chisos comfort insoles make the boot too tight, or you already wore them outside and can’t return for a size bigger. The thin insoles are the solution. Great company and great looking boots.
My first pair of cowboy boot. I’m glad I did the research before buying because the Chisos boot is very comfortable and the craftsmanship is superb. Before making my final decision, I went to local boot barn and tried on multiple pairs and size to decide the correct fit for Chisos. Also I emailed Chisos for customer service for guidance on size, availability, and they got back to me asap with the answer I been hoping for. The shipping was fast and the packaging was very good. I will purchase my 2nd pair of boots from Chisos in the future. Thank you
Love the brushed brown. Great price point. I got a pair of Luccheses at the same price point (which is their low end) to compare but ultimately sent those back for these bad boys. Just something special about them. Appreciate Chisos excellent and expeditious customer service as well. In an ideal world, I would like a 12 inch option though. Thanks Chisos
The boots are good quality leather and made well. I ordered No 2 pair to see if they would substitute for a women’s 9.5 as I have bunion issues. They are too masculine and heavy for this girlie so I returned them for a refund. I eagerly await the Ladies No 3 restock in my size!
I wore them to work the day after I bought them, and then the next four consecutive days in a row. My goal was to break them in, and make them more comfortable, but that was almost unnecessary. They worked right off the bat.
Great boots. High quality build and a seriously slick look. Plenty of compliments just after a few days. Still breaking them in but already feeling comfortable and I know they’ll just get better.
I am highly impressed with Chisos Number Two boots. The fit and the quality are next level. These boots are worth every dime. I can dress these boots up or dress them down for all day comfort. These are the king of cowboy boots.
The No. 2 is my first cowboy boot and offers instant comfort and quality. The premium leather looks incredibly sharp and smells amazing right out of the box.
I had been thinking about pulling the trigger on Roughout #2’s for a while… wish I had done so sooner. They are comfortable out of the box and the feel is like no other boot I’ve ever stepped on. After about 30 hours of wear I still had a little too much heel slip than was comfortable due to a narrow foot/heel. I reached out for some suggestions and Gannon replied in less than a day with some tips. Heeding some advice, the adjustments fixed the issue and I can honestly say the worst part of my day is when I have to take these beauties off my feet.
These boots are amazing! Never paid this much for any boot but this investment
is totally worth it! They were comfortable from the first day I put them on and are currently breaking in nicely. Keep em comin' Chisos!!!
Boots are great. Went with my brannock size, seem to fit fine. Plenty of toe room in the #2's. The leather is great, nice and thick. Overall they are very well made and I feel like I got my money's worth. Would like to see more color variations on future offerings, maybe peanut? Far and ahead nicer boots than my luchesse calfskin.
Outstanding pair of boots, no break in time, I put them on right out of the box and worn them all day, I've worn boots my whole life and these have to be the most comfortable pair I own, and I've worn, tony lama, dan post, durango and even have a pair of becks cowboy boots and the chisos # 5 beat them all
I had to wait awhile to get my boots to get 'Down Under'. Just perhaps the international shipping needs a review. But, I'm here to review boots not USPS.
Okay, so I usually take a EE fit. Whilst I would have been a little more at ease with a boot that comes in the wider fit, I watched the Chisos videos, and went with the D as opposed to the next size up (maybe an option for a round or square toe).
At first try-on they were tight in the toe box. I started to think these will take some wear in, but not really an option to be frank. I then removed the inner soles (which by the way are some of the best inner soles I've experienced, including aftermarket), and put in some thinner aftermarket inner soles. Wow, that made the difference.
I've been a rusted on R. M. Williams wearer for years (its an Australian thing). However, recently I've been somewhat disappointed with the quality. As such, I started to look into alternatives where I came across Chisos reviews. Whilst the proof will be in the 'test of time', so far I am very impressed whilst the boot quality.
Overall: quality, comfort, style. Bang!
Great fitting, comfortable, and quality built. My 3rd pair, and customer for life
Been wearing my Chisos way more than I expected I would. I'm able to sneak them into the office even though our dress code is on the stricter side (they just look that clean under slacks).
I took the sizing advice and went half a size down from what I normally wear which had me struggling a little bit with them being too narrowt. But, I grabbed a boot stretcher on Amazon and after one session they widened enough to become incredibly comfortable. Not quite on the level of my Red Wings yet but I've had those for about 10 years so it's not exactly a fair comparison.
Overall a 10/10 purchase and would buy again but would pick up a stretcher along side them from day one if you've got slightly wider feet--it just makes life easier. The size down advice is spot on because I think they'd be sliding too much otherwise.
I feel like wearing my boots again. Best boot insoles I ever had.
